Tonya Wilson

Tonya Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation. Tonya began their career as a Tax Specialist at KPMG LLP (Canada) in 1999 and later became a Canadian Tax Analyst at AMEC in 2003. Tonya then returned to KPMG LLP (Canada) as a Tax Manager from 2005 to 2008.

Following that, Tonya worked at Lafarge as a Tax Manager from 2008 to 2010, where they coordinated and managed the consolidated income tax provision of Lafarge Canada Inc. and its subsidiaries. Tonya also maximized after-tax earnings through tax project management and implementation.

In 2011, Tonya joined CIBC as a Senior Tax Manager for a year before transitioning to Capstone Infrastructure Corporation. At Capstone, they held several roles such as Tax Manager starting in 2012, Associate Vice President of Tax starting in 2016, and most recently, Vice President starting in 2020.

Tonya Wilson has demonstrated a strong expertise in tax management and project implementation throughout their career.

Tonya Wilson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Carleton University. Tonya also possesses a certification as a Certified General Accountant, obtained from CGA Canada.
