Tom Walraevens

Tom Walraevens has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Tom started their career in 1994 as an IT consultant for PCSoft Europe, specializing in SCADA software. From 1998 to 2000, they continued working as an IT consultant for Aleris, focusing on SCADA software. In 2000, they joined Capsugel as a Project/Process Engineer and later became the Head of the Production Department (Melting) on an interim basis. From 2007 to 2013, they served as the Quality Engineering Supervisor at Capsugel. Tom then took on the role of Technical Service Head in the Quality Department from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Tom holds the position of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Capsugel.

Tom Walraevens completed their Master's degree in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from KIHO Gent from 1990 to 1994. Later, they pursued further education by attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied Practical Strategies for Process Improvement from 2003 onwards. Additionally, Tom also engaged in professional development programs at Amelior, focusing on Minitab statistical software and AQL vs zero defect systems.
