Damien Heard

Damien Heard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Damien started their career at Lionbridge in 2003, where they served as a Project Manager/Lead Technical Writer. In this role, they managed large projects for global and Fortune 500 clients, providing leadership and consultation services.

Damien then joined DBSI in 2007 as a Live Marketing Content Writer, where they created dynamic sales collateral such as videos, podcasts, and seminar materials.

In 2010, Damien worked at M2M Communications as a Technical Writer, where they were responsible for creating easy-to-understand technical documentation for energy management applications and Demand Response programs.

From 2011 to 2016, they worked at EnerNOC as a Manager of Project Management. In this role, they established and managed a cross-functional Project Management Organization (PMO) and led a team of Project Managers to support the implementation of SaaS software and services. Damien also served as an escalation point for internal and customer-facing project issues.

Currently, Damien is employed at Captivate, LLC, where they hold the position of Director of Operations. Prior to this role, they served as Sr. Manager of Field Operations and Sr. Manager of Implementation. Damien also worked as a Manager of Project Management from 2017 to 2019.

Damien Heard attended Boise State University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing. In addition to their degree, Damien also holds a Project Management Professional certification, which they obtained from the Project Management Institute in October 2016.
