Richard Huynh

Richard Huynh has a wealth of experience in software engineering. Richard began their career in 2014 as a Computer Software Validation Engineer at PSC Biotech. In 2016, they moved to MacroGenics, Inc. to work in the same role. In 2017, Richard joined Veeva Systems as a Sr. Computer Systems Validation Specialist, utilizing JIRA and SDLC Agile methodology to collaborate with software and quality assurance engineers. In 2019, Richard began working on personal projects, such as utilizing the React.js library to create a reusable availability calendar component, configuring Jest testing framework with Enzyme, constructing a single-page workout tracker application, leveraging bcrypt for password hashing, designing, deploying, and scaling a backend for a related homes microservice, and optimizing PostgreSQL read latency. Richard also worked as a Software Engineer at Stride during this time. Currently, Richard is a Software Engineer at CaptivateIQ.

Richard Huynh obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego in 2014. In 2019, they attended Hack Reactor for an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive. Richard also holds a Veeva Vault Administrator certification from Veeva Systems.
