Dan Carlson is an accomplished business development executive currently serving as AVP at Captive Resources, LLC since April 2023. Prior to this role, Carlson gained valuable experience at Travelers from October 2017 to April 2023 as an account executive underwriting, where responsibilities included underwriting new and renewal accounts within the St. Paul Business Center Commercial Accounts group and managing agency relationships. Carlson also completed a summer internship at Cobb Strecker Dunphy & Zimmermann Inc. in 2017, where understanding insurance coverages and developing marketing tactics were key projects. Earlier experience includes a leadership position at LAWNCRAFTERS LLC from June 2014 to November 2016, demonstrating skills in team management and quick decision-making. Carlson holds a degree in Business with a focus on Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato, earned in 2017.
