Michael Van Ham has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and group benefits industry. Michael is currently serving as the SVP of Health Risk Management at Captive Resources, LLC since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Sales Executive at Accolade, Inc. from June 2021 to December 2022. Michael also held various leadership positions at Aon, including SVP of Chicago Health Solutions Local Practice Leader from August 2018 to June 2021, and SVP of Health Solutions from September 2015 to August 2018. Before joining Aon, Michael worked at Conduent HR Services as a Principal and Local Practice Leader in Health and Productivity from July 2013 to January 2015, and as a Principal in Health Exchange Solutions from January 2015 to September 2015. Michael also served as the Vice President of National Accounts at Cigna from February 2006 to June 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Healthcare and Group Benefits Consultant at Willis Towers Watson from July 2004 to January 2006, and at Mercer from June 1999 to June 2004. Michael began their career as a Healthcare and Group Benefits Intern at Mercer from June 1997 to January 1999.

Michael Van Ham completed their high school education at Wheaton Warrenville South High School from 1991 to 1995. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating in 1999.
