Sean Doherty has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 in the US Army as a Reservist until 2018. In 2016, they joined KBI/Pentair and held two roles simultaneously: OEM Operations & Training from March 2019 until April 2022, and National Safety & Fleet Manager from October 2016 until April 2022. Currently, they are working at Captive Resources, LLC as an Assistant Vice President of Risk Control since April 2022.

Sean Doherty earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Sean then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University, where they studied from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Sean has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. Sean earned the Associate in Risk Management certification from The Institutes in August 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the Graduate Safety Practitioner certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in November 2019. Sean also completed the 30-Hour OSHA Hazard Recognition Training for General Industry provided by the American Safety Council, Inc in August 2016.
