Jawahar Bekay

Jawahar Bekay has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Jawahar founded Tao Automation in 2016, where they currently serve as Founder and Executive Chairman. This company specializes in automation consulting and solutions, particularly in the robotics process automation (RPA) and cognitive automation field.

In addition to their role at Tao Automation, Bekay is also a Member of the Board of Directors at AssisTech Foundation (ATF) since 2020. Jawahar previously held positions as a Member of the Board of Directors at Telstra Telecommunications Pvt Ltd from 2011 to 2021, and as an Advisor at CSS Corp from 2012 to 2016.

Before founding Tao Automation, Bekay held various leadership roles in different companies. Jawahar was a Member of the Board of Directors at CaptiveAide, where they provided advisory services in multinational corporations' India "captive" strategy. Jawahar also founded Tattvam Advisors and served as CEO at Planetasia Limited.

Earlier in their career, Bekay served as Chief Operating Officer at Microland Limited from 2009 to 2012 and Chief Strategy Officer at Collabera Inc. from 2005 to 2008. Jawahar also held the position of CEO at Microland Limited from 1996 to 2000, where they were a co-founder.

With their diverse experience and expertise in automation, strategy, and leadership, Bekay has played integral roles in various organizations throughout their career.

Jawahar Bekay completed their Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Marketing from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 1981 to 1983. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bach Sc.) in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College from 1977 to 1981. Their earlier education history includes attending St Xavier's High School, although the specific dates and degrees earned are not provided.
