Lee Pillsbury

Lee Pillsbury is a seasoned professional in the travel and hospitality industry with extensive experience in venture capital and executive leadership. As Managing Director at Thayer Ventures since January 2016, Lee focuses on early-stage technology investments in travel and hospitality. In addition, Lee serves as Chairman at TLG Investment Partners, Advisory Board Member at Social Tables, and Director at Adara. Lee’s entrepreneurial background includes co-founding EMC Venues and holding the position of Co-Chairman at Thayer Lodging, Brookfield Hotel Properties until May 2021. Lee also founded TenX Healthcare, which aims to enhance the patient journey during hospital surgeries. With an academic foundation that includes an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, Lee contributes to various organizations, including serving as a Trustee at Cornell University.
