Martin Thorn

Martin Thorn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Martin currently works at Capture One as the Director of Business Development & Partnerships, a role they assumed in December 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Strategic Partnerships & Projects at the same company from August 2022 to December 2023.

Before joining Capture One, Martin Thorn worked at Telia Danmark as the Director of Strategy and Business Development from March 2018 to August 2022.

Martin also has experience at Philip Morris International, where they held various roles. Martin served as the Commercial Director from September 2016 to October 2017, leading business transformation efforts and managing a team. Prior to this, they were the Head of Business Development & Strategy Nordics from September 2014 to August 2016, overseeing the strategic process and business development.

Martin Thorn also held positions such as Head of Marketing for selected brands in the Nordics, Head of Marketing in Denmark, National Sales Manager for new business areas in Denmark, Regional Sales Manager, and Nordic Management Trainee in the company.

Prior to their tenure at Philip Morris International, they worked as a Research Analyst at Mediaedge:cia from July 2004 to August 2006.

Martin Thorn studied at Copenhagen Business School from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration (HA). Martin then pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Strategic Management (FSM) from Copenhagen Business School from 2004 to 2006. In 2005, they attended Harvard University's Summer School program, and also participated in an exchange program at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
