Dennis Cook

Dennis Cook has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dennis started their career at BeVocal in 1999, where they worked as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for developing and implementing a scalable and redundant platform for telephony-based voice recognition applications. Dennis also played a significant role in transitioning the applications from internally developed Nuance Speech Object based to externally developed VXML.

In 2006, Dennis joined ARRIS as a Principal Staff Software Engineer. Here, they designed and implemented new features for video and audio encoding, transcoding, recoding, and advertisement insertion. Dennis also ported control software across three hardware platforms for new generation customer releases.

From May 2019 to September 2019, Dennis worked at Wipro Limited as a Consultant. In this role, they helped businesses transform their operations, technologies, and people to adapt to the digital, customer-first world. Dennis provided integrated strategy, digital, and domain expertise to global Fortune 500 clients, leveraging analytics and insights to uncover hidden value.

Currently, Dennis is employed at CaptureRx as a Software Engineer, starting in November 2019.
