Lindsey Difazio Meyer is an experienced professional with a strong background in fundraising, program management, and corporate relations. Currently serving as the Corporate Relations Manager at Capuchin Soup Kitchen since September 2022, Lindsey is responsible for cultivating relationships with individuals and corporations to support various ministries and programs. Previous roles include Director of Leadership Development Activities at Oakland University, where Lindsey managed fundraising strategies and oversight responsibilities, and Associate Director of Alumni Affairs at Georgetown University Law Center, focusing on fundraising growth and alumni relations. Additional experience includes Development Director at the American Heart Association, Area Relationship Manager at Kaplan Test Prep, Executive Team Leader at Target, Youth & Family Program Director at YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit, and an internship at Walt Disney World. Lindsey holds a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Oakland University.

The mission of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen is to provide food, clothing, encouragement, direction and other assistance, in a dignified and respectful setting, to all people in need - regardless of their race, ehtnicity, gender or health. We work with other community agencies, volunteers and benefactors to provide an atmosphere conducive to growth and wholesome independence among our clients. Our Mission: Inspired by the life and spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, we: -tend to people's basic needs, especially the need for food, -strive to stimulate minds and nourish spirits, and -work to understand and address root causes of social injustice in our community. In all we do, we seek to build alliances with others who share a commitment to this vision.
