Zayeed Akhter

Zayeed Akhter is a Research Associate at Capvision, specializing in healthcare and life sciences since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Resident Advisor at The Johns Hopkins University from August 2023 to July 2025, and as Managing Partner and Co-Founder of the Emerald Consulting Group, a student-led technology consulting and product management organization at Johns Hopkins. Zayeed has also held various internships, including a Commercial Real Estate Intern with Grosvenor Real Estate through Project Destined, a Summer Intern in New Ventures & Business Development at Elemy, and a Research Assistant with the Institute for Applied Economics under Professor Steve Hanke. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University and a Summer Analyst with Mercer’s Employee Health & Benefits Group. Zayeed is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and a minor in Business Administration and Management at The Johns Hopkins University, with an expected graduation in 2025.
