Obadiah Gitiye Chrp (K)

Obadiah Gitiye CHRP(K) has a work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Obadiah started their career in 2002 as a Costing and Administrative Officer at Logging Systems Ltd, where they served until 2004. In 2003, they joined Timber Treatment International Ltd as an HR & Administration Manager, staying until 2007.

In 2007, Obadiah moved to Capwell Industries Ltd, where they held various positions over the years. Obadiah started as a Human Resources Administration Manager and stayed in this role until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they served as the Head of Administration and Corporate Affairs, and from 2020 onwards, they also took on the role of Head of HR and Administration.

Obadiah's most recent position is at Bahari Forwarders Ltd, where they are currently the Head of Human Resources, starting from January 2022.

Obadiah Gitiye CHRP(K) has a strong educational background in the field of Human Resource Management. In 1998, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Kenya Methodist University. Following this, in 2006, they obtained a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Kenya Institute of Management.

To further enhance their knowledge in the field, Gitiye pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Jommo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Obadiah successfully completed this program, spanning from 2013 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Gitiye also obtained a certification as a human resource practitioner from CHRPEB Kenya in January 2019.
