Kimberly is committed to build CapZone’s national investment program in Opportunity Zones to drive human, intellectual and financial capital to invest in low income communities. To implement its business plan, she applies effective corporate governance and structures public and private relationships. Previously as Managing Director and General Counsel of Capitol Peak Asset Management, she leveraged her experience as a corporate attorney with public sector initiatives to support the firm’s investment and advisory activities.
Formerly, as Chair of the Town of Westport Green Task Force, she advised the First Selectman on determining town environmental policy. She acquired non-profit Board development experience during her tenures as Director of the Board of the Westport Weston Family Y, The Connecticut Fund for the Environment, Project Return of CT, and, currently, Homes with Hope, which she joined after leading the merger of Project Return into Homes with Hope. Kimberly began her legal career at Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman), where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity transactions, including IPOs. Kimberly earned her J.D. from Georgetown University and B.A. from Wellesley College.
