SK Yong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wireless technologies and ecosystem development. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Apple since October 2013, SK Yong has held multiple leadership positions, including Vice Chairman of the Board for Wi-Fi Alliance and board member roles in various organizations such as the Connectivity Standards Alliance and the FiRa Consortium. SK Yong played a pivotal role in initiating and launching the Miracast program, leading both marketing and technical efforts that resulted in its adoption across major platforms like Android and Windows. SK Yong's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Wireless Communications from The University of Edinburgh, a BEng in Electrical and Electronics from The University of Manchester, and executive project management training from Stanford University.
