Paolo Cassis has co-founded and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Caracol, a company they started in 2018. Paolo is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to this, Paolo co-founded Caracol Design Studio in 2015 and worked as a designer until 2017.
Paolo Cassis pursued their education in the field of Interior Design. From 2011 to 2014, they attended Politecnico di Milano, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree known as "Laurea triennale" in Interior Design. In 2013, they also took a short course at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa - Faculdade de Arquitectura in Lisbon, specializing in the same field. The degree obtained during this time is unknown.

Caracol AM
Caracol provides advanced additive manufacturing services (3D printing). Following research activities on the world of 3D and generative design at the Polytechnic of Milan, it has transformed robotic supports into an integrated Additive Manufacturing technology. The Caracol robotic system produces large-sized monocoque components with very complexgeometries and "direct printing" of composite materials with high mechanical and thermal performance thanks to the hardware development of an innovative patented extrusion system and proprietary software algorithms.
