J. Howard Shane M.D.

J. Howard Shane MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. J. Howard began their career in 2003 as a Primary Care Physician at Diagnosticians PC, where they worked until 2005. In the same year, they joined Hospital Internists of Texas as a Physician, later transitioning to the role of Hospitalist and Post Acute Physician. J. Howard held this position until April 2021. Throughout their career, Dr. Shane has also served as a Medical Director at various healthcare facilities, including Caraday Healthcare, Windsor Nursing and Rehab, Compassus, and Brookdale at Spicewood Springs. J. Howard is currently working as the Medical Director at Caraday Healthcare.

J. Howard Shane MD holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch. In addition, they have obtained the certifications of Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care (CMD) from AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine in December 2016, and Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1995.
