Erik Ramao has been working in the sales and strategic partnerships field since 2021, when they began their role as Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships at CaraGreen. Prior to this, Erik worked at AIM LLC from 2017 to 2021 as President, and at Spectrum Quartz from 2017 to 2021 as Director of Commercial Sales. From 2009 to 2017, Erik worked at IceStone LLC in a variety of roles, including Director of Sales & Customer Service, Manager of Inside Sales & Logistics, and Manager of Customer Service. During their time at IceStone LLC, Erik was responsible for hiring, training, and managing 10 employees across customer service, inside sales, shipping & receiving and logistics. Erik was also part of an executive committee that included the CEO and President of the company, and was responsible for analyzing department metrics as well as the development of pricing and business strategy. Erik also overhauled the pricing module used to calculate margins by analyzing material costs, labor costs and other overhead to simplify the pricing structure for customers and drop their pricing by 25%. Erik also reduced the volume of calls received for pricing through the creation of a flat price structure, and developed a comprehensive sales plan for 2015 with projected revenue of $4M. Lastly, Erik oversaw the reorganization of products on the manufacturing floor for finished products in order to meet OSHA compliance guidelines, managed relationships, oversaw inventory & negotiated contracts with remaining distribution partners, and identified, on-boarded, and trained new distribution partners to help create a more robust sales network throughout the United States and Canada.
Erik Ramao attended Hofstra University from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a BA in Political Science. Erik also earned a BA of Political Science from Hofstra University.
