Matthew Millett has a diverse work experience in various fields. Matthew started their career as a Lab Technician at Washington University School of Medicine in 2013, working on projects related to multiple myeloma. In 2014, they worked as a Researcher/Engineer at Stanford University, where they designed and prototyped a portable urinalysis device. In 2015, they interned as a Software Developer at Epic, contributing to the development of mobile apps for healthcare professionals. In 2016, they worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Facebook, focusing on a VR experience and web-based stress tracking system. In 2018, they joined Driver as a Computational Biologist, building personalized recommendations for cancer patients seeking clinical trials. In 2018-2019, they served as a Software Engineer at eian, working on a full-stack React/Node app. In 2019, they worked as a Machine Learning Consultant at Haystack Sciences and as a Software Engineer at Modern Health. Additionally, in 2019, they co-founded Caralyst and served as CEO, and later as Chief Medical Officer. Matthew is currently a Medical Student at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Matthew Millett earned a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where they studied from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2017 to 2018. In 2012, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Stanford University. Matthew also holds an EMT certification obtained in September 2017 from the Santa Clara County EMS Agency.
