Gabrielle Moody

Gabrielle Moody's work experience includes various roles in both academic and industry settings. Gabrielle is currently employed as a Scientist I - Electrophysiologist at Caraway Therapeutics, Inc. since August 2021.

Prior to this, Gabrielle worked as a Group Treasurer at Stony Brook University Consulting Club from January 2021 to August 2021. From August 2016 to August 2021, they worked as a PhD Candidate at Stony Brook University, focusing on their research. During their time as a PhD candidate, Gabrielle also served as a Graduate Student Instructor for the PhD Career Ladder Program from August 2019 to July 2020.

In addition, Gabrielle gained industry experience as a Graduate Trainee at Fundamentals in the Bioscience Industry from January 2020 to May 2020. Gabrielle was also a Graduate Research Trainee at Scholars in Biomedical Sciences from August 2018 to July 2019, where they collaborated on a NIH-funded training grant and conducted various research tasks including genetic variant identification, clinical trial reviews, and interaction with patients.

Gabrielle has also held leadership roles as a Group Treasurer for Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (GWiSE) from June 2019 to May 2020, and as a Student Representative for the Department of Pharmacological Sciences from June 2019 to May 2020.

Throughout their career, Gabrielle has demonstrated their expertise in various scientific and research-related roles, as well as their ability to contribute to team environments and take on leadership responsibilities.

Gabrielle Moody began their education in 2010 at Cedar Crest College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience. Gabrielle completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. In 2016, they enrolled at Stony Brook University and is currently a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Candidate in the field of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology. The end year of their Ph.D. program is not specified.
