Ed T. Buurman, PhD, MBA has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working in various leadership roles for companies such as CARB-X, Pfizer Vaccines Research and Development, and AstraZeneca. Ed T. is skilled in managing research alliances, leading multidisciplinary teams, and progressing vaccine development from preclinical to first-in-human evaluation. Ed holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA in Business Administration from Wilmington University.
