Will Hall

Will Hall currently serves as the Director of External Affairs at CARB-X since December 2024. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the Wellcome Trust, where Will held titles such as Head of Global Government Relations and Global Policy and Advocacy Manager, along with contributing to the establishment of the Drug-Resistant Infections Policy Team. Will also served as a Senior Policy Adviser during a secondment from HM Treasury for a review on antimicrobial resistance, which was led by Lord Jim O'Neill. Notably, during a tenure at HM Treasury, Will was the Head of EU Negotiation and Devolution Capability. Additionally, Will authored an economic policy book on superbugs published by Harvard University Press. Educational credentials include an Executive Master in Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Policy Fellowship from the University of Cambridge.
