Jed Somers

Jed Somers is an experienced executive with a focus on finance and operational efficiency in the tech sector. Currently serving as Something New at NewCo since July 2024, Somers has also held the position of Executive Chairman at Carbic since June 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of innovative sensor systems to enhance fluid infrastructure. Prior to these roles, Somers was COO and VP Operations at Owner.com from January 2022 to August 2024 and worked as a Research Analyst at Barclays from July 2012 to September 2014, specializing in fixed income research and smart-beta products. Somers holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Wharton School.
