Jason Smith has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jason started their career at Magic Lantern Group in 2001 as a Software Architect/Technology Partner, where they played a key role in developing innovative video delivery technology and partnering with companies like Disney and the Discovery Channel. Jason then joined Zoocasa in 2007 as a Software Architect/Technology Partner, focusing on spatial processing and designing spatial search and display components for the real estate search website. In 2015, they became a freelance software developer/architect/consultant, specializing in spatial systems, cartography, and GIS. Most recently, Jason served as the Chief Technology Officer at Carbide (formerly Securicy) starting in 2018. Overall, Jason has a strong background in technology and has contributed to various projects in the industry.
