Laird Wilton

Laird Wilton's work experience began in 2007 as the Director of Business Development at Line4 Communications Inc. Laird held this position until September 2010. From July 2010 to July 2011, they were the Owner of Wilton Solutions. Following this, they joined Marcato Digital Solutions in June 2011 as the Chief Revenue Officer, and they remained in this role until August 2016. Laird then became the COO & Co-Founder of Carbide (formerly Securicy) in September 2016. In this role, they focused on sharing knowledge about security and data privacy best practices, helping customers implement compliance programs, ensuring the team had the necessary resources, and assisting customers in achieving their security and data privacy goals. The end date for their role at Carbide is unknown.

Laird Wilton graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In June 2022, they obtained a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
