Sam Stewart

Sam Stewart is an experienced Network Engineer with a career spanning several decades. Currently employed at CARBO Ceramics Inc. since August 2015, Sam has successfully implemented network designs utilizing Cisco technologies and managed the migration of the company's MPLS network to AT&T services. Prior engagement includes a long-term position at Cal Dive International, focusing on project-based Cisco hardware and software technologies. Additionally, Sam holds the rank of Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy Reserve since 1985, following active duty service. Previous roles as a System Engineer at GRIFFIN MARINE TRAVEL and as an Electronics Design Technician at Biotech International underscore a strong technical foundation. Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering Technology from the University of Houston and two associate degrees, showcasing a solid educational background in engineering and technology.
