Nick Oseyko

Nick Oseyko has over 20 years of work experience in various industries. Nick started their career in 1996 as the Finance Director of Landis & Gyr Ukraine LLC, where they coordinated the activity of accounting, IT and HR departments, managed cash-flow, and budgeted and controlled budget execution. In 1998, they took on the role of Third-party Consultant at Siemens Metering (formerly Landis & Gyr Europe), where they designed and implemented a complex Excel-based model for the company's worldwide budget. Nick then became the Finance Director of JV Focus, a local partner of Kodak with retail and wholesale operations, where they managed the finance function for the company with 12 million USD annual turnover and coordinated activities of accounting, finance, and IT departments. In 2000, they founded and owned IT Personnel and was the Finance Director of Camion Oil, an exclusive distributor of Liqui Moly and Knecht products. In 2004, they became Managing Director of HRD Publishing and Acting Director of IT Personnel LLC. In 2011, they were the Head of HR of Group DF International. Finally, in 2019, they founded and became CEO of Carbominer, a Ukrainian startup developing new efficient technology for carbon dioxide (CO2) direct air capture. Nick is also the Project Lead, and the key feature of their compact and transportable DAC modules is a built-in ability to use intermittent renewable energy.

Nick Oseyko's education history includes obtaining an Engineer degree from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'\u200b from 1980 to 1989, specializing in Information Systems. Nick then obtained a Specialist degree from Vilnius University in 1993, specializing in International Accounting and Auditing. Nick also obtained a Management Accounting degree from Virginia Tech University in 1993, specializing in International Accounting and Auditing. Lastly, they obtained an Intermediate degree from State Courses of Foreign Languages in 1986 to 1988, specializing in English Language.
