Alfred G. Tamayo has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Alfred G. began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School in 2010, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the field of cell engineering as a Research Scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2017 to 2020.

Alfred G. Tamayo completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Boston University from 1999 to 2003. Alfred G. then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the Boston University School of Medicine, specializing in Molecular Medicine/Cell and Molecular Biology, which they completed from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Alfred obtained certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in December 2019.
