Jason Miller has had a varied and successful career. In 2010, they started their own company, JLM Consulting Ltd, and worked as a Wellsite Geological Consultant. In 2013, they began working for Andora Energy Corp (Pan Orient Energy) as an Operations Geo-Consultant. In 2015, they attended BCIT as a Power Engineering Student. In 2016, they worked for Carbon Engineering as a Pilot Plant Operator and for Moh and Associates Oilfield Consultants Ltd as a Sr. Wellsite Geological Consultant. In 2017, they worked for Carbon Engineering Ltd as a Project Manager for the Air-2-Fuels Pilot Plant expansion phase. In 2018, they worked for Dolly Varden Silver Corporation as a Project Manager for an $8.9M drilling campaign. In 2019, they worked for Greyrock as a GTL Plant Site Manager. In 2020, they became a Self-Employed Contractor as a Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) and Direct Air Capture (DAC) Consultant. Finally, in 2022, they began working for CarbonCapture Inc. as a Project Manager.

Jason Miller's education history includes a B. Sc. in Geology from The University of British Columbia, obtained between 1984 and 1990. Jason then obtained a Power & Process Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology between 2015 and 2016. In 2000, they obtained a Certificate from the Kellyville Schlumberger Training Center in Open Hole Wireline Engineering/Management/Perforating. Finally, they obtained an NFPA 1001 from the Justice Institute of British Columbia between 1993 and 1997. Additionally, Miller has obtained certifications from various institutions, including WHMIS from YOW Canada in 2013, Safety Orientation from Encana Corporation in 2013, Standard First Aid - AED, CPR C from St Johns Ambulance in 2016, H2S Alive from Enform in 2016, TDG - Transportation of Dangerous Goods from YOW Canada in 2013, and Onshore Wells Worksite Expectations from Shell Oil Company in 2013.
