Nicholas Sapiro

Nicholas Sapiro is an Electrical Design Engineer at Virgin Hyperloop since May 2022, responsible for the lithium cell and battery pack test laboratories, where duties include developing test plans, performing thermal and electrical characterizations, and programming test software. Previously, Nicholas served as a Test Technician and Lead Mechanical Technician at Virgin Hyperloop from April 2016 to January 2020, contributing significantly to the establishment of the lithium cell testing lab and the assembly of the Devloop hyperloop prototype. Nicholas also has extensive experience in freelance film production as a Production Sound Mixer, Sound Designer, and Recording Engineer in the music industry, alongside mechanical work in motorcycle and racecar repair at Choke Cycle Shop. Education includes an Audio Engineering Certification from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Seattle Central College.
