Senior Test Engineer at Carbon Capture

Steven Gregoire has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steven is currently working as a Senior Test Engineer at CarbonCapture Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Hyperloop One from 2020 to 2023, first as a Test Automation Engineer and later as a Test Engineer. In these roles, they developed and maintained test software, created tools for automating testing tasks, and provided design direction for test rig mechanical, electrical, and software features.

From 2012 to 2020, Steven worked at SAFCell as a System Engineer, leading system integration and test engineering for a fuel cell remote power generator. Steven defined system architecture and requirements, managed system testing, and improved system design based on field trial deployments.

Before their role at SAFCell, Steven was a Test and Validation Engineer at Intelligent Energy in 2011, where they designed and assembled automated production test platforms and provided architectural direction for LabVIEW and TestStand design. Steven also worked as a Systems Engineer at SafeNet from 2010 to 2011, generating requirements and leading the development of a defined process for integration and test work group.

Earlier in their career, Steven worked as an Electronics Technician at ank design llc in 2010. Steven also held positions as a Controls Engineer at Boston Engineering in 2008, a Research Assistant at Northeastern University Microwave Materials Laboratory in 2007, an Electrical Engineering Co-op at Hasbro in 2007, and a Power Distribution Field Engineer at National Grid in 2006.

Steven Gregoire received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Blackstone Millville RHS from 2000 to 2004, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree or field of study at that institution. In terms of additional certifications, Steven completed the following courses: "Intro to Computational Thinking and Data Science" from MITx on edX in June 2019, "Intro to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" from MITx on edX in March 2019, and became a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer through NI (National Instruments) in October 2022.
