Tony Garcia

Tony Garcia, CPA, CGA has a solid work experience in finance and accounting. Tony is currently serving as the Director of Financial and Business Systems at Carbon Engineering Ltd since January 2021, where they previously held the role of Director of Finance from February 2019 to January 2021. Prior to that, Tony worked as a Controller at a cannabis startup from February 2018 to January 2019. Tony gained extensive experience as a Controller at Axine Water Technologies from April 2014 to January 2018. Tony also worked as a Controller at General Fusion from October 2010 to April 2014, where they were responsible for creating financial statements and managing year-end reporting documents. Before that, they served as the Director of Client Accounting at MediaCom Canada from 2005 to 2010, handling revenue accounting, GL reconciliation, SOX compliance, treasury management, and cash flow reporting. Tony's earlier roles include working as an Assistant Controller at Cellex Power Products from 2000 to 2004, and as a Controller at Nalley's Canada's Ltd from 1996 to 2000.

Tony Garcia, CPA, CGA completed their education in Accounting at Langara College in 1987. Tony obtained their CPA, CGA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 1997.
