Brad Winkel

Brad Winkel, MHS, PA-C, currently serves as the Clinic Medical Director and Urgent Care Physician Assistant at Carbon Health since December 2021, while also providing emergency medicine services at Emergent Medical Associates since November 2015. Additionally, Brad is a Disaster Medical Assistance Team Physician Assistant for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, involved in COVID-19 deployment efforts. Previously, Brad has held roles as an Urgent Care Physician Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, Clinic Physician Assistant at Volunteers of America, and Preventative Healthcare Physician Assistant at MedXM. Brad's clinical training included a comprehensive array of rotations at Duke University School of Medicine, culminating in a Master of Health Science degree. Earlier experience includes serving as a Cerner Electronic Medical Records Lead Trainer and a School and Community Health Education Specialist with the U.S. Peace Corps. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
