Kayla Deshong

Kayla Deshong, MPAS, PA-C, currently serves as the Area Medical Director for East Bay/Marin and Washington at Carbon Health, with previous roles including Interim Area Medical Director of Northern California and Medical Director. Prior experience includes providing urgent care as a Physician Assistant at Action Urgent Care and holding leadership positions such as Associate Medical Director and Assistant Medical Director at Column Health and New Horizons Medical, respectively, where focus was on addiction treatment and patient management. Kayla has extensive experience in assessing and treating patients facing substance withdrawal and psychiatric conditions, developing treatment protocols, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Academic credentials include a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University.
