Yoon Sung

Yoon Sung, MD, currently serves as an Urgent Care Physician at UCLA Health and Carbon Health, while also taking on the role of Chef at Red Room in Koreatown, Los Angeles, and as Chef/Owner of Oksusu, a contemporary Korean-inspired restaurant. Yoon has an extensive background in medicine, having completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Drexel University College of Medicine and a Master of Health Science at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Resident and Resident Physician at Stanford Health Care, participating in the Stanford/Yale Global Health Scholars Program, and contributing as a medical volunteer in various initiatives. In addition to medical practice, Yoon has engaged in culinary arts as a Cook, Writer, and Photographer through Cookingwithyoon.com, and has held positions including Pastry Chef at Hanchic. Notably, Yoon successfully launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the Oksusu restaurant.
