Jonathan Walter

Jonathan Walter currently serves as the Supervisor of Special Programs and Services at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit, overseeing Non-Public School Services and Multi-Disabilities Support programs since October 2016. Walter has extensive experience in special education, having held multiple supervisory roles, including oversight of Early Intervention Services, Enhanced Autism programs, and services for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across various school districts. Prior to this, Walter was the Special Education Supervisor at Renaissance Academy Charter School and worked as a High School Emotional Support Teacher at Progressions School. Walter is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) with a focus on Superintendent Letter of Eligibility Certification at PennWest Edinboro, building on a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education from the same institution.
