Gesha Uminskiy

Gesha Uminskiy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career as a Ranger with the National Park Service in 2008 and held this position until 2011. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, they worked at UC Merced in roles such as Senior Resident Assistant, Undergraduate Research Assistant, and Field Technician. In 2013, Gesha joined Geosyntec Consultants as an Engineer and remained in that position until 2018.

From 2018 to the present, Gesha has been working at Carbon Lighthouse, starting as a Data Acquisition Engineer responsible for aggregating and preparing building operations data. They then progressed to the role of Senior Data Acquisition Engineer in 2020 and are currently serving as a Senior Systems Integration Engineer. Their responsibilities at Carbon Lighthouse include managing contractors, assessing building automation systems, developing new field processes and tools, and leading field-based data collection efforts.

Gesha Uminskiy earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Merced.
