Patrick Sullivan is an experienced scientist specializing in methane image processing at Carbon Mapper since May 2022 and previously served as a machine learning intern. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah since August 2018, Patrick's research concentrates on remote sensing of greenhouse gases and firefighter safety. Patrick also contributed as a Graduate Student Mentor for NASA's Student Airborne Research Program in 2020, guiding undergraduates in scientific research. Earlier roles include serving as a server and host at Grand Targhee Resort, a raft guide and reservation specialist at Blue Sky Adventures, a spatial analyst at the University of Vermont Spatial Analysis Lab, and an undergraduate research assistant in the University of Vermont Geochemical Lab. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Utah and has a comprehensive background in geology, geospatial technologies, and biology from the University of Vermont.
