Chaya Venkatakrishnaiah

Chaya Venkatakrishnaiah is the Managing Director and VP of Carbon Origins, as well as a co-founder of the company. Chaya has an extensive background in finance and banking, having worked for State Bank of India for over 28 years. In their time at State Bank of India, Chaya served as a Deputy Manager for Business Loans, financing and managing over 120 business units. Chaya was also responsible for training the next generation of State Bank of India employees in fields such as banking law and practice, risk mitigation, cyber law, and digital marketing.

Since leaving State Bank of India in 2016, Chaya has taken on several different roles in the financial sector. Chaya spent a brief period of time as a faculty trainer at Manipal Global Education Services, before moving on to become the CEO of VR Yatra. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Managing Director and VP at Carbon Origins.

Chaya is a highly skilled financial professional with a passion for helping businesses grow. Chaya is an expert in troubleshooting and maximizing return on investment, which has helped their increase customer baseline across their various positions. Chaya Venkatakrishnaiah has a Master of Arts in Eastern Classics from St. John's College, a Masters of Business Administration in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mysore, and a Diploma in Computer Science in Computer Science from JSS Polytechnic for Women, SJCE Campus, Mysore. Chaya has also completed a Pre University course in PCMB from SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Jayalakshmipuram, and Christ The King Convent, Mysore. Chaya has received certification from Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai in CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai, CMC Limited, Bangalore. in Computer Training for Banks, and Zephyr Computer Academy, Mysore. in Programming in COBAL.
