Erwan Castanet

Erwan Castanet is an experienced Process Engineer and Research and Development Engineer at Carbon Revolution since August 2018, where research focuses on the production of one-piece Carbon Fibre Wheels for leading automotive manufacturers like Ferrari, Ford, and Renault. Prior to this role, Erwan served as a Research Engineer at Deakin University from June 2013 to September 2021, leading projects funded by the IMCRC grant, working on medical textiles, and exploring biodegradable bio-composites using natural bamboo fibers. Erwan's education includes a PhD in Composite Material - Bio-composites from Deakin University, a Master of Engineering in Technical Textiles and Advanced Materials from ENSAIT, and foundational studies in industrial technologies.
