Eric Soubeiran

Eric is Vice-President Nature & Water Cycle at Danone, where he is responsible for coordinating Danone’s sustainability strategy incorporating climate change, water resource protection, regenerative agriculture and circular economy. He is also CEO of the Danone Ecosystem Fund. Eric serves as administrator of the Livelihoods Carbon Fund and The Gold Standard Foundation.

Eric began his career in strategy consulting and M&A, joining Rexam Plc where he led strategic planning for the company’s beauty and medical devices division. In 2006 he moved to India, as Managing Director of a newly acquired Rexam business. Eric then joined Danone in 2010 to head the group’s operations in the sub-continent, where he oversaw the launch of an innovative range of nutritional products with a pioneering route to market approach to reach the region’s poorest people. In 2013 Eric joined Danone’s marketing team to take charge of the Activia and Vitalinea brands for the French market. In 2014 Eric took charge of milk sourcing for Danone across Europe managing a network of 4000 dedicated farmers in six European countries, during the deep transformation of the milk market. He was appointed Vice-President Nature & Water Cycle at Danone in 2017.
