Ekaterina Plotnitskaya

Ekaterina Plotnitskaya is an accomplished investment professional with a strong background in the venture capital space and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as an Investment Associate at Climate Investment since June 2022, Ekaterina also holds board observer positions at Carbon Upcycling Technologies and Clarke Valve, both starting in 2024. As a member of Global Women in VC since May 2021, Ekaterina actively supports women in venture capital. Previous roles include hosting at Pique Action and coordinating funding for environmental startups at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment. Earlier experience includes working as a VC Analyst at TotalEnergies Ventures and an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Greenhill & Co. Academic credentials include a Master of Management Studies in Global Business and Society from Yale School of Management, a Master in Management from HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Virginia, complemented by a minor in Dance.
