Ron Marconet has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ron is currently employed at Carbon as a Finance professional since October 2019. Prior to that, Ron co-founded Aero Systems West, an aerospace startup focused on commercial drones, in July 2018. Ron served as the Chief Operating Officer and successfully raised seed funding before the company was acquired in June 2021.
Before their entrepreneurial venture, Ron worked at eBay as a Manager of Global Strategy from July 2017 to July 2018. In this role, they defined and prioritized growth strategies, collaborated cross-functionally, and developed customer-focused business plans in coordination with C-level executives.

Some notable projects include developing a comprehensive portfolio strategy for a global Women's Health division and creating a marketing process for a private pharmaceutical company.
Before their consulting career, Ron gained initial industry exposure as a Summer Intern at Monitor Group in 2010. Ron worked on a case team and conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Ron's career started in 2005 when they founded RPM Group, an internet-based e-commerce reseller specializing in sales of low-cost foreign-made toys. As the Founder and Sales Manager, they managed high sales volumes and explored cost-effective shipping and processing methods due to the company's position as a low-price leader.

Ron Marconet completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2017, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 2011. Ron concluded their high school education at Chaminade College Preparatory in 2007.
