Gaurav N. Sant

Gaurav N. Sant's work experience begins in 2008 as a Director at AlphaCon Engineering (Goa) Private Limited. In 2010, they joined the University of California, Los Angeles as an Assistant Professor and Rice Endowed Chair in Materials Science. Gaurav then progressed to Associate Professor and Henry Samueli Fellow, Professor and Henry Samueli Fellow, and Professor and Pritzker Endowed Chair in Sustainability. In 2019, they also became the Director of the Institute for Carbon Management. In 2021, Gaurav N. Sant founded and became the Director of multiple companies, including Equatic.tech, CarbonBuilt, CONCRETE-AI, and SpecifX. In 2022, they co-founded and became the Director of x/44. Additionally, they serve as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Foundamental and Arqlite.

Gaurav N. Sant pursued their education in a chronological manner starting from Sharada Mandir School where they attended from 1988 to 1998. Gaurav then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Purdue University from 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, they completed their Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Purdue University from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, completing their doctoral studies from 2007 to 2009.
