Michael Carlson has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Michael started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nano/Boraston Laboratory in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Willerth Lab. During the same year, they also joined The University of British Columbia as a Masters Student, where they completed their program in 2014. Michael then pursued a PHD at the University of British Columbia, starting in 2014. In 2016, they took on the role of President/CSO at Carbonet nanotechnologies, a clean-tech research venture based in Vancouver.
