Michael Carlson

Michael Carlson has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Michael started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nano/Boraston Laboratory in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Willerth Lab. During the same year, they also joined The University of British Columbia as a Masters Student, where they completed their program in 2014. Michael then pursued a PHD at the University of British Columbia, starting in 2014. In 2016, they took on the role of President/CSO at Carbonet nanotechnologies, a clean-tech research venture based in Vancouver. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer at CarboNet, where they currently work.

Michael Carlson attended the University of Victoria from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
