Felipe Viana has a diverse work experience in the finance and agribusiness sectors. Felipe is currently working at Carbonext SA as a Sales Director, where they oversee the sales and trading team, negotiates carbon credits with clients, and maintains relationships with key account players worldwide. Prior to this role, Felipe worked at XP Inc. as an Agribusiness Officer, focusing on new agribusiness products and finance structures. Felipe was also responsible for the first CPR emission from XP Bank. Before joining XP Inc., Felipe worked at Santander Brasil in an Agribusiness role and at Safra as a Relationship Manager in Large/Corporate Agribusiness Products. In these positions, they managed a portfolio of assets, structured new agribusiness products, and assisted with various aspects of operations. Felipe also gained experience as a Softs Team Intern Trader at ED&F MAN Capital Markets and as a Market Development Intern at Monsanto Company.
Felipe Viana completed their education at various institutions. Felipe studied Agricultural Engineering at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2010 to 2016. In 2017, they attended FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and obtained a degree in Banking Management in the Financial Market Context. Felipe also briefly studied Agricultural Engineering at the University of Lisbon in 2012. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at Instituto Adventista São Paulo from 2007 to 2009. Felipe's earliest education was at King George Secondary School in Vancouver, where they completed elementary school in 2005.
In addition to their formal education, Felipe obtained two certifications. In 2018, they passed the CFA Level I exam from the CFA Institute. In 2020, they received the CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA.
