George Moon is a Full Stack Developer at CarbonFarm since September 2023 and has a rich history of technical and managerial roles. As the Director of ElectricMagnetic, a technical contracting company registered in New Zealand since September 2015, George has managed diverse projects, including significant contract work for the Department of Conservation and other organizations. Previous positions include Project Manager at Natural Solutions, Senior Developer at the Department of Conservation, and Developer at Parc naturel régional de la Forêt d'Orient. George has extensive experience in project management with Catalyst and served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Canterbury. Educational qualifications include a Master in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po and Bachelor's degrees in Geography (First Class Honours) and Geography with an endorsement in Environmental Science from the University of Canterbury.

Reducing these emissions is important and carbon investors are willing to pay farmers to do so. But this requires transparency. Transparency over the methods farmers are employing, transparency over the emissions they produce. CarbonFarm is using satellite data and artificial intelligence to provide this transparency.
