Jeremy Freeman is currently the Founder and Executive Director at CarbonPlan. Previously, at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Jeremy served as the Director of Computational Biology, where Jeremy played a crucial role in growing the science initiative from scratch and allocating philanthropic funding towards biomedical research. Prior to that, at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Jeremy was a Group Leader managing a team working on computational tools for understanding neural coding and brain anatomy in mouse cortex and zebrafish. Jeremy's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Swarthmore College.
