Julian Kakarott

Julian Kakarott's work experience starts with their current position as CEO & Co-Founder at CarbonStack. Their role here involves accelerating the transformation to CO2 neutrality by offsetting hard-to-avoid emissions with local compensation projects, utilizing satellite imagery to assess CO2 absorption by forests, and documenting projects on a public blockchain.

Prior to this, Julian worked as a Research Assistant with an academic degree at Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW Hamburg). Julian's first professional experience was as a Freelance Consultant with Hanseatic Consulting – Studentische Unternehmensberatung e. V. Here, they provided consulting services from October 2013 to April 2016.
